Nobody should feel they are attending a golf trip when they don’t play golf.
Corporate Country Club designs retreats where the golfers play, everyone else gets a day built with the same care by the same person, and the whole company comes back together for the parts that actually change something.
Corporate golf connects companies to each other. It has never connected a company to itself.
The golf day is one of the most effective business tools in the country, and it only ever serves the people who play. Everyone else in the company hears about it on Monday.
The second programme is designed, not improvised
The non-golfers are not handed a spa voucher and an apology. Their day is built by the same person, to the same standard, on the same calendar — and it is often the better day. A wine cellar you get to blend in. A game drive at the hour the animals are actually out. A coastline most of the group has driven past for years.
The evening is the product
Two groups spend a day apart doing something each of them chose, then converge over a long dinner with something to tell each other. That is a fundamentally different room from twenty people who all did the same thing, and it is where the relationships actually move.
It starts with the outcome, not the destination
Reward, recognition, a leadership reset, a distributed team that has never been in one room, a client you are trying to keep. Tell us that first. The destination is the last decision, not the first — and the right one changes depending on the answer.
One contract, one invoice, one person
Corporate Country Club contracts as principal. We carry the suppliers, the risk and the phone calls. You sign once, pay once, and speak to one person — who is on site while it runs.
Two tracks running in parallel, converging every evening.
A three-day Garden Route retreat, as an example. Both tracks are real programmes with a host, transport and a booking behind every line. Nobody is waiting in a lobby.

Golfers play. Non-golfers are never spectators. Everyone converges for the moments that are worth the money.
Five retreats, each chosen for a different kind of week.
Every one of them runs three ways — Base, Country Club, Executive. The figure below is where the Base package starts.
From-prices are per person, VAT included, for a group of twenty on the Base package: accommodation, every meal, the golf, the parallel programme, ground transport throughout and a Corporate Country Club host on the trip. Travel to the destination is quoted separately by route and close to cost — a Cape Town group should not be paying for a Johannesburg flight. Your number moves with group size, dates and what you add, which is why the real one comes from us rather than from a page. All rates subject to availability and written confirmation.
The same retreat, at three levels of finish.
Each level adds to the one before it. Nothing is taken away.
Base
- Four-star accommodation, twin or single
- Every meal, from arrival to departure
- The golf — green fees, carts, practice facilities
- The parallel programme, designed and booked
- All ground transport and transfers
- Welcome dinner and a closing lunch
- A CCC host reachable throughout
Country Club
- Upgraded rooms, priority check-in and lounge access
- A caddie on every round
- A GC3 launch monitor fitting for every guest who wants one
- A PGA clinic — including for people who have never held a club
- Five-course gala dinner with wine pairing
- Branded apparel for the group
- A photographer for the full retreat
Executive
- Best available rooms and suites
- Business class where the route sells it
- A third round, or a second signature course
- Drinks throughout the retreat
- A whisky and cigar evening
- A private guide dedicated to the non-golf group
- Drone footage and an edited highlight reel
- Monogrammed leather gifting
Business class is route-dependent and we will not pretend otherwise: no airline sells a business cabin into George. On the Garden Route retreats the Executive package puts that budget into lounge access, priority handling and private transfers instead — or a charter, if the group is large enough to justify it.
Franco Groenewald
He started an industrial psychology degree, dropped it, picked up a golf club in March 2019 and went from an eleven handicap to scratch inside eighteen months. He moved to Mossel Bay in 2021 and took a waiter’s job to get near a golf course. He was in operations within a month and managing the pro shop by 2024.
Industrial psychology and a professional’s card is an odd pairing. It is also exactly the pairing this job needs: somebody who reads a room of twenty people and can also get a tee sheet, a kitchen and a game ranger to land on the same hour.
He is on the trip. Not at the end of an email — in the room, on the first tee, and at the table when it matters.
Corporate Country Club is new, and we are not going to build a wall of client logos that do not exist yet.
What is not new is the person running it, the courses, the lodges and the people who deliver it. We run a deliberately small number of retreats a season so that the founder is on every one of them. If a date does not work, we will say so rather than take the booking.
Five phases, and three promises we will hold you to.
Brief
You tell us the business outcome, the headcount and roughly when. Not the destination — that is our job.
Proposal
A day-by-day, fully costed proposal, both tracks written out hour by hour, VAT included.
Confirm
One contract, one invoice. Deposit on signature, balance six weeks out. Cancellation terms pegged to real supplier release dates, not a flat penalty.
Deliver
We are on site for the whole retreat. Every supplier calls us, not you. Your only job is to be a guest at your own event.
After
Photography, the highlight reel where it applies, and the takeaway written down — decisions, commitments, recognitions. Something has to change.
Your proposal lands within two business days. Not “we’ll be in touch”. Two business days, day by day, costed.
The price we quote holds for fourteen days. Whatever a supplier does in that fortnight is our problem, not yours.
Nothing appears in a proposal that has not been confirmed. Where something is still subject to availability, the proposal says so in that line, in plain words.
Build it yourself, or just call.
The builder takes about four minutes and asks the same questions we would ask on the phone. The more of it you fill in, the sharper the proposal that comes back.
